Spring in Omalos

Dense vegetation in areas of Omalos where fences protect flowers and trees from being grazed by the vast numbers of sheep that pass though the plateau on their way to higher pastures. The yellow flowers are the rare Cretan endemic Chaerophyllum creticum.
