The hinterlands of Platanias

Looking out towards the Bay of Chania and Thodorou island from the hills. This is the area I often refer to as 'my backyard' on these pages. It's all heavily cultivated (mainly olive groves but also oranges and avocados) so by no means wild but it's a quiet place to have a stroll when I don't want to take my car to go further away.
