
Excursions in Crete
Crete offers so much variety that it has often been described as a continent on an island. Wherever you are located on your holiday, there is so much to see in Crete that you probably won't want to spend all your time at the beach.
Below are a few day trips that you can undertake from the Chania region
Note that these excursions are meant to be done by car or other forms of transport. Walks have their own section. One exception is the Gorge of Samaria which has been included in both sections.
