Monumental plane tree of Argyroupoli

An exceptionally large plane tree near Argyroupoli. You can see the size of the trunk in this photo. It is a true giant though the claims of the tree being 2000 years old (or more) seem exaggerated. But it could be well over 1000 years old. If you want to make an excursion into the dendrochronology of plane trees here is a good article (Figure 5 at the bottom of the article is a good way to skip all the math)
