Tulips in Omalos

No spring visit to Omalos is complete without admiring the beautiful Tulipa saxatilis that grow there in great numbers. Actually, this year the numbers are not so great. It seems that the ones in open fields (here is an example from 2021) are almost non-existent whilst there are plenty in locations that are sheltered by trees (and protected from grazing by fences).
