Not a great photo as I was shooting into the sun. But I loved how these ancient, long abandoned terraces looked, covered in lush grass. It's been a very wet winter even here in the South (Asfendiles is located around 650 m above Paleochora) and it's all amazingly green.
Note the (probably) dead trees in the foreground. There was a big fire last summer which pretty much stopped where I am standing to take this photo and this is when these trees were burnt.
