Mountain juniper

A beautiful specimen of Juniperus oxycedrus subsp. oxycedrus in the mountains. At this altitude (1850m) it is an incredibly slow growing plant (it's around 3 m tall, you can see a detail here). I took a photo of it 18 years ago (different angle, different lens) and it has hardly changed at all.
