Kakovoli, Doxi and Mavri

After the last few days of rain and snow I decided to go and walk the ridge from Mavri to Doxi and Kakovoli (that's from right to left in this photo and though it doesn't look at all like a ridge there isn't too much ascent and descent involved once you're on the first summit). The snow is beautiful, somewhere between half a meter and a meter. Unfortunately there was a very strong, cold wind blowing once you got to the tree line...so I decided to go for a swim instead. Thankfully, in Crete we always have alternatives :-)
