Olive harvest

One way to harvest olives is to use fixed nets under the trees and let the olives fall into the nets though the more common way in our area is no keep trees smaller and harvest by beating the trees (nowadays with electrically-powered rotary harvesting rods) for the olives to fall onto nets then moving the net to the next tree and carrying on. But in some area with taller trees and steep slopes this is not practical and fixed nets are used.
