The summits of Kastro and Fanari

The summits of Kastro and Fanari (as well as Paspalomyti at the back) are a good example of how little snow we are having this winter. Where you'd normally have several meters of snow there is only a small layer that will melt the next warm day. It's not so much that we've had no rain (though the rainfall on the mountains has been lower than usual) but temperatures have been well above average so far less snowfalls.
