Onobrychis sphaciotica is a rare chasmophyte with beautiful pink flowers. From a distance it looks a bit like Ebenus cretica.
One of the rarest flowers in Greece (it is listed in the Greek Red Data Book as vulnerable), it has a very limited distribution in the western White Mountains in the upper reaches (1300 to 1800m) of the gorge of Samaria.
