Photos of Crete in March 2003

After a cold and rainy February March brings in the hope of warmer days. It is possibly the best month in Crete if you want to see greenery and flowers. Higher up in the mountains it is still deep winter, with a lot of snow on the summits after the very heavy rains of February and March.
