Holiday Studios and Apartments

Holiday studios and apartments are a comparatively new trend in Crete. Obviously more and more Cretans recognized that not everybody wants to spend their holidays in a hotel room and might prefer to have their own cooking facilities. An apartment will also often be better value for money when you take your holidays with a family.
There is at present no database on the internet providing lists of studios and apartments for rent so you will have to do your own, sometimes tedious, search. You can take a look at hotels-crete.com (which despite its name lists all sorts of accommodation) which has hundreds of listings (and all of them with prices). This is a completely independent site.

Apartments are less common than studios and whilst there is plenty of choice on the north coast of Crete what is available on the South coast is quite limited. Below are a few recommendations:
