The monastery of Gouverneto (also called Our Lady of the angels) is located on a ridge to the North of the peninsula of Akrotiri, about 4 km from the monastery of Agia Triada. It was built in the early 16th century. This is the end of the road and from there you can walk down to the abandoned monastery of Katholiko in around 20 minutes.
