This cypress is located at an altitude
of 1600m, just by the tree line. Its
trunk is almost 3 meters in diameter
and it must therefore be somewhere between
2000 and 3000 years old. I think that
the cypresses of the White Moutains
might be amongst the oldest trees in
Europe
