Kalamaki near Chania

Kalamaki is not really a village but an area along the coast, somewhat squeezed between the sea and the village of Galatas further inland.

Getting there:   7 km from Chania with regular bus services.

Accommodation:   Plenty of studios, rooms and apartments.

Restaurants:  A few tavernas.

Shopping:  A number of small supermarkets.

Nightlife:   You will need to either go to Chania or Platanias.

Beach:  A small sandy beach unfortunately located right along a busy road. The quieter Agii Apostoli is within walking distance along the beach.
