the main coastal road, 17 km from Chania. Frequent buses.
Atmosphere: Reasonably
quiet place somewhat lacking in atmosphere.

can find everything from luxury hotels to simple rooms.

next village Platanias.
Beach: Long pebble
beach. Not very crowded.
