Crete does not have a large choice of villas and houses available for holiday makers but there are some in most coastal regions, varying from quite simple houses to the luxurious with pools and all facilities. The difficulty is finding them as there is no database of what is available on the Internet. Some owners present their villas directly but most rely on agents in foreign countries and you are probably better off searching for an office in your own country with Cretan villas on their books.
