Kastelli (or Kissamos) is a small provincial town located in the
beautiful golf of Kissamos. There isn't much to see but the town
has kept its Cretan character. |
Getting there: Kastelli
is located 40 km west of Chania. Regular bus connections.
Atmosphere: Quiet
and sleepy little town. Not at all geared for tourism.
Accommodation: Plenty
of accommodation. There are also a couple of campings nearby.
Restaurants: Good
restaurants frequented by the locals.
Shopping: What you'd
expect in a small town.
Nightlife: Some bars.
Beach: A long beach
stretching east of the town. It is a mixture of sand and pebbles.
Generally very quiet.
