Holidays in Kalamaki

Kalamaki is a congregation of newish buildings with a small sandy beach close to the road leading west out of Chania.

Getting there:   7 km from Chania with regular bus services.

Atmosphere:   Not much atmosphere but the villages of Galatas and Daratso, just a little bit inland are still quite pleasant and authentic.

Accommodation:   Plenty of studios, rooms and apartments.

Restaurants:  A few tavernas.

Shopping:  A number of small supermarkets.

Nightlife:   You will need to either go to Chania or Platanias.

Beach:    Nice small beach but it is very close to a busy road.
