Teucrium brevifolium is a compact low altitude phrygana shrub from the Labiatae family. It is found in far eastern Crete, the Akrotiri peninsula and near Paleochora, some offshore islets as well as in Libya and Egypt.
Beautiful small flowers (around 10mm in size) that vary in colour from almost white through to pink and mauve appear between December and March.
