Lavendula stoechas - Wild lavender

Wild lavender or French lavender (botanical name Lavendula stoechas) is a common very aromatic phrygana plant flowering in spring. Whilst common in other areas of the Mediterranean it is only found in north-west Crete and south of Rethymnon.
