Euphorbia acanthothamnos - Greek spiny spurge

Euphorbia acanthothamnos is a Greek and Aegean endemic plant growing from sea level to over 2000m. A spiny cushion-like shrub which flowers from March to June. It grows mainly in limestone areas. Its name means "thorny bush" in Greek. An accurate description.
