Cretan Ebony

Cretan Ebony - Ebenus cretica

Cretan Ebony is a widespread Cretan endemic flower. It is a chasmophyte (the term used for a plant that has become specialized to grow in cliffs) but will also be found on ungrazed hillsides, preferably steep hills. It flowers from late March to June.
