Wherever you are spending your holiday, there is so much to see in Crete that you will probably want to go and visit some other places.
This new section of the web site will grow to describe some of the more interesting places in western Crete as well as some other 'must see' in other parts of the island such as the Minoan palaces of Knossos and Phaistos.
Note that these excursions are meant to be done by car or other forms of transport and that walks have their own section. One exception is the Gorge of Samaria which has been included in both sections.
