Dead cypress in the mountains

These "skeletons" of cypresses (Cupressus sempervirens horizontalis) have a wood that is virtually indestructible and will lie around in the landscape for a long long time.
In the background you can see the ridges separating the gorges of Eligas, Samaria and Klados
