Malva sylvestris - Common mallow
The top picture shows a drop of rain water inside a mallow flower. Yes. it's been raining a lot here in the last few days. Not so nice for the tourists who would surely prefer to lie on the beach but the late rain will extend spring so I am not complaining.
As the close-up image was a little too close to really see what the flower is, I added a photo of the whole flower.The ant in the picture gives a sense of the scale..
