In the upper part of the gorge of Figou

 

If you walk up the gorge of Agia Irini it is possible to take a branch that will ascend steeply up another small gorge called Figou. This short steep ascent (of a little over 500m from the point where you leave the gorge of Agia Irini) eventually takes you to the plateau of Omalos. Not many people walk through it and it has remained quite wild.

The flowers that you can see in the foreground are sage flowers.
