There have been some clouds over the island in the last few days, unusual for late June. I decided to go to Balos, near the tip of the peninsula of Gramvoussa in the hope of taking some stunning photos of Tigani to Balos with clouds in sunset light. It turned out that I had gotten my orientation completely wrong: Tigani to Balos is not located to the north of the path that descends to it but to the north-west. This means that in mid-summer the sun sets right behind the peninsula. The bottom line: the light is completely wrong and it is just not pssoble to take a decent photo at sunset time.
So instead I took photos looking towards the West and including the last hill of the mountainous ridge that runs along the middle of the peninsula and to the right a part of the bay of Balos. Not bad either, just not what I came to Gramvoussa for.
