Falasarna beach

 

I took this photo from a tiny rocky cove just off the big beach of Falasarna (in the background) then went in for a swim. My first swim of the year (unless i had a swim in early January, I can't remember).
The water was not cold at all even though early April is still a very cool time of the year (because of slow warmingof the sea) as far as water temperatures are concerned. But I guess that the sea has been really quiet and the weather fairly warm for the past few days so the water must have warmed quickly in shallow areas.
