Today is again a little similar to a photo I posted before (in January 2008). It is taken from exactly the same location. In today's photo though the colours in the sea are markedly different. The light blue water (which happens more commonly in Ilingas - that's the first beach west of Hora Sfakion and you can see it in the background) is due to a combination of currents and, I guess, water temperature differences. It's not such a rare phenomenon in South Crete but I rarely saw it right in the harbour of Hora Sfakion.
