The church of the Koimesis Theotokou (Dormition of the Virgin which essentially means the "death of the virgin Mary", her falling asleep) is located in the vicinity of the monastery of Agios Giorgos Karydi, not far from Vamos in Apokoronas. Unfortunately the chapel was locked so I could not have a look inside. What I found impressive was the big wall, obviously the whole front of an elaborate building that was still standing at the side of the chapel.
I could not find any information anywhere as to what the building could have been. If anyone knows please tell me.
