In tne snow above the gorge of Samaria
A few of you have emailed me to ask for more snow picture so here is one.
This was taken a week ago but I don't think that the snow conditions have changed much at altitude even though it has melted lower down. For a change, I am in the picture, standing high above the gorge of Samaria. The higher mountain in the background is Pachnes (2453m) and to the right of the picture is part the vertical face of Gingilos (1980m). You'll see more of the last one tomorrow.
