On the E4 path between Loutro and Agia Roumeli
One of my favourite spots by the sea: the pine forest beyond Agios Pavlos. In the foreground you can see the typical yellow and black marking that tells you that you are on the E4 path.
The European long-distance path E4 is a sort of imaginary path (I don't know who put it together) which begins in Gibraltar then goes to Granada – Murcia – Monserrat – Bourg Madame – Carcassone – Grenoble – Chasseral – Bregenz - Salzburg (alpine Alternative: Bregenz – Zugspitze – Semmering) – Rust am Neusiedler See – Héviz – Budapest – Mátraverebély – Karos - Ártánd (H/RU) - then arrives in Greece traversing the northern and central part of the country, the Peloponnese and ultimately reaching Gythion and continuing in Crete . After crossing the island from west to east it moves on to Cyprus where it ends.
