Helichrysum conglobatum on Akrotiri

 

I could not find a common English name for this plant. Its botanical name was derived from the Greek words helisso (to turn around) and chrysos (gold). And its flowers are really a striking gold that contrasts beautifully with the silvery colour of the stem and leaves.
