Following on yesterday's picture, here is another example of high dynamic range composites. The top image is a combination of several images taken at various exposures. The image below is a single one (the best of the lot but it still could not cover the whole dynamic range of the scene).

I also have a New Year's card but as it is not related to Crete I have not put in as a Photo of the Day. Instead you can view it here. With my best wishes for 2008.
