Field of anchusa cespitosa in Axlada
This dates back to the middle of May. I was passing at Axlada
(below the summit of Psilafi in the western White Mountains)
and came across a whole field mixing Anchusa cespitosa (that's
the blue flower) and two types of yellow flowers (one is, I
think, a Crepis, the other one I don't know). Normally the
rare Anchusa grows in well defined patches and doesn't mix
with other flowers so I found this very unusual.
