The path between Sweet Water beach and Hora Sfakion

 

A section of the coastal path between Loutro and Hora Sfakion passes in a cliff above the sea. This is part of an ancient path that was probably dug out of the cliff.
Whilst it is wide ( enough for two persons to walk side by side in most places) and safe it can present quite a problem if you suffer from vertigo. The alternative in this case is to take the ferry.
