This is also a photo of a place that I have shown before but
I like it a lot so here we are again. The cemetary is
located on the way to the acropolis of Polyrinnia (or Polyrrhenia)
- a significant city-state which flourished between Archaic
and Roman times. The steep walk up is really worth the effort
for the beautiful views of the whole region of Kissamos which
will reward you at the top. It's also a great place to visit
(in the spring) if you like wild flowers. There are some pretty
goats too but that's another story.
