This time of the year is orange blossom season. When you
drive through the orange groves on the way to Omalos or Sougia
(through the villages of Agia, Alikianos, Skines etc.) with
your windows open the sweet smell of orange blossoms is almost
overpowering. There truly have been times where I needed to
close my car windows because it was too strong.
