The church of Agios Nikolaos in Splanzia, Chania
Back to one of my favourite views in Chania. The church
of Agios Nikolaos, with its minaret on one side, church tower
on the other. Here they are seen from the harbour mole and
perfectly lined up with the White Mountains in the background.
Perspective is shortened a little by using a telephoto lense.
This kind of sums up Chania in winter for me because on sunny
days, wherever you go in town you always get glimpses of the
White Mountains in the background.
