The bay of Agio Farango is located in the South of central
Crete (south of the Messara plain) and accessible only by walking
through the gorge of Agiofarango (the gorge of the Saints)
or by boat.
It has also become popular with a few rock climbers because
of its high cliffs made of solid limestone rock . You can see
four of my friends on the top of the rocky promontary (hello
Fondas, Michaelis, Stella and Maria!) after climbing up from
the beach
