In the White Mountains between Melidoni
(Apokoronas) and Grias Soros
I went up for the first time to Grias Soros (this is one
of the main summits that you can see from the region of Apokoronas,
it looks like a perfect cone) from the chapel of Agia Pnevma
Pemonion (located on a dirt track above Melidoni). There is
no real path but it is still a pretty clear - and very hard
going - route straight up to Grias Soros. Along the route I
found this amazing rock formation...that's why I look so happy
- it's not every day that I discover something new.
