I am a little busy at the moment to find time to write much. Instead here are links to recent articles that I found very interesting.
The first is a good clear (long article) on who and what is Syriza, the party that recently emerged as a major force in Greek politics.
The second article is aptly called Ground zero exploring the scenario of a Greek exit from the Euro. That article is not hugely optimistic.
The last article is written by Arianna Huffington for the NY Times: A Greek tragedy. I guess the title says it all.

Interesting articles. I wonder how this troublesome development might affect tourism to Greece already this summer. I know a couple of Crete-afficianados here in Sweden who have decided not to go to the island this year.
I think Greece should go their own Hellenic’s way. Stay in the Schengen zone, but outside the eurozone. And of course should increase political, economic and cultural relationships with Russia.
