The first tourists of the season arrive in Chania

Greek Hospitality  Not in CrisisLast Sunday the first charters of the season landed in Chania from Helsinki, Frankfurt and London, bringing more than 400 tourists. All were welcomed at the airport with refreshments and traditional Cretan dancing. A number of representatives of the industry attending the functions expressed their optimism about a healthy growth in tourism for this year and were very pleased with the early start of the charter arrivals this season.

Regular low cost operations are also starting with 24 weekly services directly into Chania from nine European countries, flying out of 14 different cities.
